Our withdrawal from Afghanistan is on the horizon, and our troops are coming home. With our troops coming home, we must provide them with the necessary medical support and job training that they deserve and need to re-enter civilian life.
As a combat veteran and a Captain in the Army Reserves, Louie knows the struggles veterans face when they come home. It is unacceptable that Veterans wait over 375 days for their claims to be processed by the Central Texas VA system, and in Congress Louie will address the restructuring of veterans benefits and security to ensure their continued success.
